The Harzer BaudenSteig connects the most beautiful forest inns and mountain inns on the sunny side of the Harz and offers a hiking experience with wonderful places to stop for refreshments.
Marked with the brown symbol, it leads hikers on 6 stages for approx. 100 km from Bad Grund to Walkenried Monastery.
Simply start the stage of your choice and collect all the stamps you find at the Bauden in the accompanying booklet. Once you have hiked all 9 Bauden, you will receive your „Harzer BaudenSteig hiking pin“ for a nominal fee of €4. You can obtain the hiking pin from all participating tourist information offices along the BaudenSteig or from the Harzer Wandernadel service office.
