Stamp point 142 / Mandolinenhütte

The Mandolinenhütte is located above the Ochsental valley between Lauthental and the Innerste reservoir.

From the Man­do­li­nen­hüt­te you have an out­stan­ding view of the Inners­te reser­voir. Next to the hut, whe­re the stamp box is loca­ted, the van­ta­ge point has been desi­gned with an impli­ed Stein­way grand pia­no and a small sea­ting area. Just like the Trän­ke­bach­hüt­te HWN 104, the Man­do­li­nen­hüt­te is loca­ted on the Stein­way Trail, which leads from Wolfs­ha­gen to Seesen. 

The most con­ve­ni­ent start­ing point is the Spar­ren­berg­sied­lung on the out­skirts of Lau­ten­thal. The sign­pos­ted Och­sen­tal­weg trail starts at the bus stop and leads to the Man­do­li­nen­hüt­te after approx. 1.5 km.
