The Königshütte waterfall (496 m above sea level) is located near the B27 federal highway in the district of Rothehütte, not far from the Rübelandbahn railroad bridge.
The artificial waterfall in an old quarry plunges some 20 meters over a rock and can already be seen from the road. Follow the narrow path to the left of the waterfall and you will reach a rest area with a stamp.
We recommend continuing the hike to the Königsburg ruins HWN 41 and the Trogfurther bridge HWN 42.
