The Weißer Hirsch (414 m above sea level) is an excellent vantage point in Treseburg, approx. 150 m above the Bode Valley.

The distant view over the Bode Valley as far as the Brocken is a reward for every hiker.
The best starting point is the parking lot on the Bode in Treseburg. Walk towards Allrode and behind the hotel „Zur Luppbode“ on the ascending path to the viewpoint.
You can choose this location as the start of a 20 km day tour, which leads via the Pfeil-Denkmal HWN 68, the Prinzensicht HWN 70, La Viershöhe HWN 72 to the Hexentanzplatz. The way back to Treseburg is via Hirschgrund HWN 178 and Sonnenklippe HWN 69.
