Stamping point 111 / Steinberg tower / Steinbergalm

The tower, located southwest of Goslar on the Steinberg (472 m above sea level), was built in 1888 as the Kaiserturm under the direction of the Harzklub Zweigverein Goslar.

The aim of building the tower was to promote tourism, which has been achieved in view of the wonderful view from the Steinberg tower of the Granestausee lake, the Rammelsberg and the Harz foreland.

The stamp box is located directly in front of the Steinberg Tower, which can be reached from Goslar from the parking lots „Unter den Linden“ or „Unter den Eichen“.

Another stamp box with the same HWN number 111 is located in front of the Steinbergalm.
