The Jägersbleeker Teich is located between Clausthal-Zellerfeld and the Sperberhaier Dammhaus.

The pond is part of the Upper Harz Water Regal, is used to produce drinking water and is protected as a biotope. A refuge for hikers, where the stamp box is also located, stands at the end of the dam and is named after the forestry officer August Weppner.
A good starting point for a hike is the Waldgaststätte Polsterberger Hubhaus, from which a hiking trail leads through the forest above the terrace to the stamping point.
