Stamping point 22 / Gelber Brink

On the way to the Brocken, attached to a display board, you will find the „Gelber Brink“ stamp box (888 m above sea level). To the right of it, the hidden Ilse plunges down into the valley. 

You can hear the rus­hing of the river and the river­bed is also reco­gnizable, but the water­cour­se is hid­den under huge gra­ni­te rocks. The small res­t­ing place tempts you to take a short break. 

The iron sign­post shows various direc­tions. The Bro­cken is only 4 km away. Near the stam­ping point, the pri­me­val forest trail bran­ches off from the Bro­cken­stra­ße, which leads direct­ly through the core zone of the natio­nal park for about 200 m.
