Stamping point 50 / Walzenhütte

The Walzenhütte (521 m above sea level) is located between Trautenstein and Benneckenstein in the Harz stream valleys.

A good start­ing point is the hiking par­king lot next to the Damm­bach­tal café on the out­skirts of Trau­ten­stein. As a day tour, you can also com­bi­ne the Wal­zen­hüt­te with HWN 47 Ober­harz­blick am Buchen­berg, HWN 48 Stier­berg­steich, HWN 97 Zie­gen­alm Sophien­hof and HWN 51 Carl­sturm to crea­te a beau­tiful cir­cu­lar tour.
