For the production of our premium badges, the Harzer Steiger and the Harzer Wanderkaiser, geologists Dr. Elke Steiger and Dr. Torsten Steiger select typical Harz rock types. The selected stones are sawn and carefully worked in several stages to create unique and ingenious pieces.

Only those who have hiked all the stamp sites may call themselves such.
You need all 222 stamps of the Harzer Wandernadel for this high-ranking badge. You collect the stamps in your hiking pass.
Collecting is not limited in time, so it is possible over several years. The number of brooches is limited to 222 pieces of a particular stone series. Once these 222 have been allocated, the badge is made from a different Harz stone, again limited to a quantity of 222.
