How do I register for the coronation as Hiking Emperor / Hiking Empress?
Um Wartezeiten in unserem Servicebüro für Eure Krönung zu vermeiden, bitten wir Euch, diese mindestens einen Tag vorher kurz telefonisch oder per E‑Mail anzumelden.
Due to the increased awareness of the possibility to have stamps added in our service office in Blankenburg, the following general conditions apply to this service from now on:
Only stamps that can be verified by the ID number or the original stamp are added
Please prepare the booklets at home accordingly, i.e. mark the corresponding pages in the hiking pass and in the accompanying booklets and have the proof ready for re-stamping
Please refrain from showing photos on your cell phone as proof
An Feiertagen und Wochenenden bitte nicht mehr als 5 Stempel zum Nachtragen mitbringen, um Wartezeiten zu vermeiden
How to collect digital stamps in the Harz App?
The Harz App was developed by the Harz Tourism Association in coöperation with Outdooractive.
The various badges of the Harz Hiking Needle are represented by challenges in the Harz App.
IMPORTANT
Achieving a challenge and thus a badge does not count towards the analog badge, as the stamps for this must be collected in the hiking pass.
Download and set up the app
You can download the Harz App from the Appstore and the Google Playstore download.
To get started, you need to create a free Outdooractive account. To do this, go to „My page“ and click on „Register for free“. You will now receive a link by email to confirm your account and start collecting stamps.
Collect digital stamps
To do this, go back into the app and click on the three lines in the top left corner.
Now go to „Harzer Wandernadel“ and „Collect digital stamps“.
A description will open there. Now scroll down to see the first pictures of the badges.
Click on one of the pictures to register for the respective challenge.
Now click on „Register“ in the challenge.
If you are now standing in front of a stamp point that is required to achieve this badge, you can click on „Check In“ in the challenge and have thus registered the stamp for this challenge.
Tip
If this does not work, try scrolling down under „My page“ and clicking on „Synchronize“.
Which stamping points have changed in the past?
The following stamping points were changed as of April 16, 2016:
43 Steinatal dam new: Weser-Elbe „Hohe Tür“ watershed
47 Dreiländerstein new: Oberharzblick on the Buchenberg
